Golf - September 16
We are holding our second annual golf outing for a second time ( the second outing of the year, making it number 2 1/2) on September 16, 2011 at Village Green GC in Mundelein. The first event of the year at White Deer Run in June was a fun and exciting outing. This new addition to our annual events is focused on more involvement by job-seekers, successfully landed seekers, our sponsors and supporters. As such, the cost is much lower and the event is on a Friday afternoon to foster a more casual feel.
We are seeking (1) Beverage Cart Sponsor, (1) Buffet Lunch sponsor and (1) Happy Hour Sponsor. When you sponsor a part of this event, you will be providing the attendees with the named benefit, such as Lunch as the lunch sponsor, without adding to the cost of attending. We are also seeking raffle items for the event. A Raffle item can be right out of your inventory or a donation of a service. Call Tom for more details: 847-557-0590.

A Perfect Night: Fresh Start of Illinois Wine Tasting Fundraiser
Over 40 supporters of Fresh Start gathered Thursday night, October 7th to celebrate one year of helping guide people in career transition. Members of the local business community including the Mayor of Libertyville, Terry Weppler, were in attendance.
The weather was perfect for our first event held on the patio at Fresh Start. Bob Stemper from S&S Wine & Spirit Warehouse guided the group through 8 varieties of fine wine. Two Fresh Start Clients told of their journey through career transition and we networked to tunes played by the Jazz Ensemble from Libertyville High School.
Catering was provided/donated by Chef Paul, Sunset Foods and 545 Restaurant. Arrangements by Windmere's Denise Bonds made the atmosphere equal to the perfect weather. Event coordination was provided by Steve Schapiro of S&S Consulting. Additonal sponsors include Amplivox, Massage Envy, MicroTrain and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
