Since its inception in November 2009, Fresh Start of Illinois has met with >100 unemployed or underemployed individuals. Some of these individuals have become volunteers for Fresh Start of Illinois so they can help others in their job search efforts.
It takes "time and talent" to help Fresh Start grow awareness and it takes critically needed funding to keep the doors open to those in need.
Although we are aggressively seeking alternate sources of revenue via special events, grants and by hosting community group meetings, we are reliant on donations. Please consider supporting Fresh Start so we can continue this important work to help our community members in career transition.
Fresh Start Needs (new or used)
In addition to the donations that can be made via Paypal or a Charity Choice gift certificate in the green area on the left, we are also in need of the following items:
- PC Projector
- Fax Machine
- 22" or Larger Flat Screen PC Monitor
- 8' x 10' or bigger White Board
- Scissors
- Plain Wall Clock for Main Room
- Easel
- Used PC's with Windows XP operating system and MS Office licenses
- Napkins - Toweling
- New or Used Printer Cartridge for Exchange
- Unused Gift Cards with Value (We will use to purchase supplies)
